In 1927...

... an unlikely musical tale began when a group of sportsmen performed a concert to raise money for their old school's rugby club.

The show was such a success it spawned a sequel, and within 4 years, this group of rugby players had become musical theatre performers and created a society which still performs to this day.

The 'Local Amateur Musical PlayerS' (better known simply as LAMPS) are based in Tonbridge, Kent and have performed over 100 shows during their life.
